Our History:

Special Recreation Services is a non-profit 501(c) organization. SRS was started on August 10, 1987. We are dedicated to providing quality service to Consumers enrolled in our Home and Community Based Program (HCS). SRS employs Bi-lingual staff as we serve individuals from many different ethnic and social backgrounds. We are currently located in the old Historic Houston City Hall building at the east side of downtown Houston.

SRS also operates a Campsite located on the beautiful Lake Sam Rayburn, just outside of Jasper,TX. During the summer months we offer 3 different sessions. During the rest of the year we offer weekend camps on the 3rd weekend of the month. Call us for dates, costs and other details.
